You may look at the old-school style pants and attire that golfers wear and chuckle a bit but there is a reason why golfers have a dress code.
Golf wear has come a long way and even become more mainstream with non-golfers. Who doesn’t own at least one golf polo style shirt right?
Every course and club has their own rules and some are more lax than others. You can likely find dress codes on the clubs website to make sure you stay within the guidelines. Not all golf attire is expensive. If you are on a budget you can go to a local thrift shop and pick up a few shirts and pants.
