Roomservice by CORT is a UK furniture rental company that offers modern, high quality, sustainably sourced furniture to rent. We have been in business for over 35 years and provide furniture rental to those who wish to furnish their home, stage properties for sale or rent, and for landlords renting furnished properties to tenants. We recently carried out some research which found that nearly a third of people throw away unwanted furniture, electrical items and homewares that could have been reused. Furniture rental is not a well-known concept in the UK but is a well-established practice in the USA and the environmental benefits are clear for all to see. As part of National Recycle Week and to highlight the environmental cost of adding furniture to landfill we created an infographic highlighting the environmental and financial benefits of furniture rental.
