What is the best country to live in for older people?

The UK stairlift retailer Handicare recently set upon a mission to determine the best country in the world for older people to live in. In order to come up with a definitive ranking, they compared over 100 countries across a range of data. They looked into happiness scores, health index scores, safety scores, pension ages, living expectancies and property prices.

The infographic accompanies the main article, What is the best country to live in for older people, and highlights the nations that managed to snatch the top five positions in the rankings. It goes into detail about why each of these countries did so well. It also highlights the UK and explains it’s 17th position on the list. In the larger article, Handicare goes into more detail about each category, looking at the top nations in each area, and the bottom. It is also filled with quotes from those who have lived in or travelled to some of the more notably performing countries.
