Texting and driving is a big issue today. Texting while driving even for a few seconds can have disastrous consequences. People of all ages are engaging in this activity. Driving is a natural daily activity and no matter how comfortable or how many years you are driving, it is a big responsibility. Statistics show that thousands of people lose their lives in car accidents from careless drivers. As a result of our survey, we found that over 230+ respondents under the age of 18 from which over 53% have seen how one of their parents text while driving. Our survey also found that about 42% of people have used their smartphones to text while driving in the least past year, and only 23% has rarely text while driving. In conclusion, 3 of 4 respondents have seen a close person texting while driving. These numbers are scary but are real.
