Young Stroke Awareness

For people under the age of 45, the risk of having a stroke is about 1 in 1,000. While it is true that age can increase your risk of having a stroke, anyone from infants, to teens, to young adults can suffer from strokes, and do, every year. The number of strokes in young people even seems to be increasing. If you want to help address this growing problem, learn to recognize the symptoms of stroke and educate yourself about who it effects.
