Leadership Hierarchy

Leadership is something that not all people possess. All can be leaders in their respective fields, but having the qualities of a leader is another thing altogether.

In this infographic, CEO and Founder of Genesis1 Training Alfred Yap discusses the leadership hierarchy that explains why people follow certain leaders. The lowest form of leadership is when people follow just because they have to while the highest form is when people follow because the leader is representative of the group.

Keeping the leadership hierarchy in mind, you can analyze the kind of leader you are and want to become. Do you want people to follow you just because you have a higher position than they have or do you want them to follow because they believe in everything you stand for? Not to mention, you get better insights on how to influence people in the workplace to do the work for you.
