Nevada Domestic Violence Stats

In a 2015 Nevada State Report by the National Domestic Violence Hotline, almost 1,800 contacts were made from persons in the Silver State.

Of the 1,791 contacts made, 41.9% were in the 25-36-year-old age group, 15.9% were between 19 and 24 while 3% were under 18.

Whites made 43% of the contacts, blacks called 23% of the time and Hispanic, or other, comprised 17%.

The top city in the survey was Las Vegas with 69% of the contacts and a six-way tie for last place with Sparks, Elko, Mesquite, Fernley, North Las Vegas and Gardnerville each having 1%.
